These rabbit pages are for my rabbits from 1997 to 2004. I don’t have rabbits right now, but may want to again in the future. I never started out to be a rabbit friend and the first rabbit “BunBun” arrived as a surprise, being brought home by someone else. Luckily, it was worth every day.
I think it’s better to have at least 2 bunnies so that they’re not lonely when I’m away and so that they remember how to be rabbits. So far my pairs have been boy and girl. They’re spayed and neutered for better long term health, and they might otherwise fight.
I give them a large run of the house at the same time. For privacy and seclusion I make a bunny castle/condo from cardboard boxes, and this is where I feed them most of the time. I’ve tried to make their home such that they have good ventilation, with bright sunlight or shade as needed.
